Koh Samui is a beautiful island, a few hours flight from France. The climate is pleasant and the beaches are heavenly. It is a very touristy island. The French are numerous and there are French speaking staff. But Koh Samui is a luxury island. Hotels are expensive and so are the tourist activities. If you want to discover Thailand without breaking the bank, it is better to go to Phuket. It’s a bigger island, where prices are lower. The beaches are just as beautiful and the climate is ideal

The best place to relax
Finally, where is the best place to relax? Is Koh Samui a better destination than Phuket? I think so. Koh Samui has less touristy beaches than Phuket, so it’s a great place to relax. Also, the island is bigger, so there are many places to go. Koh Samui has many restaurants and bars but it is less impressive than Phuket. The city centre is smaller which makes it easier for tourists to get around. So I think Koh Samui is a better destination for relaxation and rejuvenation
